Since the creation of Adam in the garden of Eden, the Lord has compelled man to walk with Him, to listen to Him and to trust in Him. To bring to Him all of his burdens, concerns, fears and doubts. To look to Him to meet his every need with the provision that only a Sovereign Creator God is capable of administering. To ask for His protection and seek the peace of mind and soul found only in a personal relationship with God the Father. In every age mankind has sought to control his own destiny rather than rely on his Creator. Even more dishonorable to the One who breathed life into our lungs - we as humans, especially them that do not know the Lord, in times of dire straits and in the face of life’s storms, look to other men to rule over us and to protect us. To keep us alive and to provide for us. The chosen nation of Israel did so in ancient times, now is the chosen nation of America doing in our time. Lord, have mercy on us!

Throughout history, both in the ancient Biblical and nearer recent past, the same story is told time and again. It’s even portrayed as the end times conglomeration of a one world government that will in the very near future control every aspect of the lives of the inhabitants of earth - at least them that will never come to know Christ Jesus.

Kings have, as a rule, been the ‘lord’ over their people, which the Bible tells us is dictated by the will of God. Bestowing upon their subjects - at their discretion - the right to live, to work, to procreate, to prosper or stagnate financially, to marry, to fight for justice and to pursue happiness…or not. Depending on the hearts of said kings - or rather on the God who holds their hearts in His hand - those who, in righteousness seek after the Lord have many times been lead to freedom while them that the Bible calls ‘wicked generations’ have been handed over lock-stock-and-barrel to heavy handed, narcissistic ego maniacs who’s every thought contained only one person. Self. Another highlight of the time of tribulation found in the book of Revelation, giving us a great deal of insight into the final world dictator and his beastly government.

It is clearly laid out for us in the book of the Apocalypse of Christ through His messenger to John the beloved disciple (the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ - the final book of the Holy Bible) - the administration of the Antichrist will be a government that will control the ability of all men to earn money, will decide what his work is worth, will tell him how much of his money he will be allowed to keep, will decide for him how much food he can buy, where he can live and even how much energy he is allotted. This beastly government will control the healthcare of each subject as well, deciding for them what is necessary for their well being - be it mandatory immunizations, forced abortion as contraception or euthanasia for those who are reaching old age, the infirm, mentally retarded - or anyone who is ready to checkout because of lifelong illness or depression - eventually mandating the taking of a ’mark’ of loyalty to continue to receive the staples of finite life. If this sounds like a socialist ideology, that is exactly what it is. Born in the minds of brilliant yet narcissistic, psychotic and evil men like Carl Marx, Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler (though this ideology is found throughout the Bible from Nimrod and Nebuchadnezzar to Pharaoh to Caesar, etc.), these social dictatorships seek to bring all men into the fold of socialism…by force if necessary. This ideology requires the consent of the powers that be to live and mandates the control of each life to be governed by the will of the king - who is the ‘queen of the hive’ for lack of better description, forcing all of his subject to provide for the kingdom and to maintain his lavish lifestyle while keeping everyone else, if just barely, alive. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Please excuse the tongue-in-cheek; it is truly no laughing matter. This what this world has to look forward to, and I am convicted, is coming about before our very eyes. The main difference between Antichrist’s dictatorship and all who came before him is that the overwhelming majority - even more than were for Hitler - will seek his wisdom and guidance because the world in which they find themselves will be the most turbulent since it’s foundation and self-preservation will lead most people to hunker under anything that makes them feel secure. And still, they will not seek after the God of all creation.

If we have been watching the news as of late, I dare say we should notice a pattern unfolding before our very eyes in a world where financial crisis is rocking every corner of the earth. I do not believe it is ironic that here in the U.S. our three branches of government have hurriedly forced through a ‘stimulus package‘ that increased the size of our national debt to greater than that of the entire world‘s GDP, all due to the manipulation of Rahm Emanuel and the new prince, err um president, Barack Obama - never in history have both houses passed anything it never even had time to read, but it‘s amazing what mortal fear will do to the unbeliever under the persuasion and influence of a false prophet and his king . This nation is quickly movement away from what the Lord says is right in His Word. I must credit a wonderfully enlightened brother in Christ and talk show host - Scott Wilder - for his excellent enumeration of these areas in a perfectly astute and articulate manner. Just as he explains, in a well functioning Christian society, tithes are brought to the Lord’s house where the Church uses the offerings to freely dispense social care to the general population in every way; from feeding, clothing and caring for heath and well being to building, housing and education - for anyone in need. The only catch is that the one whose felt-need is being met is in a position to hear the gospel, thereby giving them the opportunity of coming to a saving faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. Free-will is unabated and control is left in the hands of the individual. Legislative and statutory matters - which must be a part of any free society to protect the public at large from maliciousness - reside with the government who is of the people, for the people and by the people, based on a liberty handed down from on high. God is revered above all, respected by life and honored in the act of living by His commands. This is how it should be. Ah, but the slippery slope of socialism, once stepped upon, quickly brings a civilization tumbling and crumbling down. Our once noble and righteous Judeo-Christian society is on the brink of destruction. The many who find fault with the life and liberty found in living the way the Word of God provides are growing in power and replacing Him with government at every turn. This is a government who put’s itself on the very throne on God. How, might you ask? Keeping in mind the aforementioned description of a properly functioning Christian society, observe the shortcomings that will soon bring the judgment of God and the destruction of the United States.

This government - the current super-majority, democrat controlled beast of liberal ideology - requires that one brings his tithes to the house of the Fed. The Fed will then decide how to distribute these monies. This teaches the people to look to the government for food, for housing, for protection and for health and well being. This teaches the people to cry out to the government with their concerns and look to the Fed to fulfill their every need and makes one a bondservant of the government. This effectively seeks to replace God for all provision and is birthed by the spirit of Antichrist. Couple this with a government who refuses to protect innocence, has recently proposed a form of population control similar to communist China, who looks to dole out heath care by rationing, that is trying to bring about a paperless or cashless society - keeping all financial information in digital form rather than physical form - who will stop at nothing to undo every bit of headway gained by Christians in the past decade and who looks to make global warming, global security and global prosperity it’s greatest concern and who is tightening the noose of ‘church and state separation’ around the neck of all who believe on the Name above all names…and what have you got? Read the book of Revelation and I’m confident you will see for yourself.

It can only be a matter of time until the most powerful nation on earth (America), with the mightiest military, the most dependable currency exchange (the US Dollar), the most widely used international language (English) and the most powerful man on earth (the office of the President) come into play in the end times governing body. My expectation is that the world’s messiah, the financial savior who brings about a false peace and gives hope to the citizen’s of the world, will rise up and take over the U.N. who has until present day been woefully inept at flexing it’s political muscle with regard to taking control in international conflict a la Iraq under Saddam and currently Iran and Darfur, etc.. I can see where Antichrist’s presence on the scene will be warranted by the cataclysmic effects of the Magog vs. Israel conflict - which is currently on the not so distant horizon - and the rapture of millions of Christians. Combined with the frenzied call for global warming control, the financial market system crumbling and rampant unrest around the world - the consolidation of banking systems, health-care systems, housing markets, etc. etc. etc. - all of which are fires just beginning to burn and the inhabitants of the earth are already primed to accept a messiah figure.

Many have asked why, and most Biblical scholars have explained that even though these seem to be the birthing pangs leading up to the tribulation period, America is mysteriously absent from the end times prophecy scene. I would say this is the case because they are missing what is right in front of their noses - that America is the focus of prophecy regarding the throne of the beast and is the very ‘Mother of Harlots’ termed ‘Mystery Babylon’ in the book of Revelation.

Even so, Lord Jesus - Yeshua Ha’Moshiach - the Messiah of God…Come Quickly!
