Let all men know and fear the hand of the Almighty Creator God whose righteous judgment is perfect and true. No nation has ever escaped punishment, no peoples have avoided His correction, no tribe His anger repelled, once the time of judgment is come. Every heathen country, every pagan government, every lawless land and Godless group of people have been destroyed when the clock of judgment chimes. Israel alone has escaped complete annihilation and been left a remnant because of God's love for her – even being reborn as a country 'in one day' (May 15, 1948) in fulfillment of prophecy – from the very graveyard of the nations of antiquity. It can be seen retrospectively that God has used the nations of the world to discipline His children Israel, yet, in every case He has dealt more harshly with these nations after they have fulfilled their purpose. Pastor John Hagee of the Houston, Texas Cornerstone Church has been deeply criticized for his remarks, explaining that 'Hitler was used to bring the Jewish people back into their homeland' but this great man of God speaks His truth. Not once has a prophet ever received with honor in his own town and country. This will never change.
The reasons for Israel's destruction can be found throughout the Holy Bible but the theme never really changes. Israel has always forsaken their God. They murmured against Moses after being delivered from the hand of an oppressive pharaoh even as God met their every need in the wilderness. They killed the messengers the Lord – the prophets who came in the name of the Most High to warn of impending doom and destruction because of her ways. They cheated, deceived, willfully abused and spitefully used each other. They had no brotherly love and even warred against each other. They trusted in their God so little that they demanded Samuel anoint a human king over them. Every time they cried out in their misery, the Lord would save them and within a generation or two, Jacob would return to their sinful ways, once again walking away from the one true God. The nation of Israel is proof of God's longsuffering, lovingkindness, and patience in dealing with those He loves, yet He never withheld His judgment. The curse of the OT – for forsaking God's command - is alive and well today.
America, the birthplace of 'big industry' - capitalism at it's peak – has issued forth a chain reaction of events that are helping to lead us to the end of times as predicted in the Bible. The love of money is the root of all evil and this once flourishing Judeo-Christian nation is currently following the path ancient of Israel (not associated with the plight of modern day Israel) into holy judgment and divine correction. These huge global conglomerates are behind the very consolidation of the finite world; part of the prediction of end times prophecy. As tele-data providers, banks, health insurance companies, clothiers, cobblers, beverage and fast food markets, pharmaceutical monsters, real estate development companies and others, seek to make greater profits and spread into a wider marketplace, they have unwittingly caused the world to come into a oneness favoring a common market and unified global government.
The will of God cannot be usurped and a nation who seeks not after the God of all creation through His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ – who lives for sensual fulfillment, is built on greed, divided by uncommon sense, who is morally bankrupt and socially corrupt – who sees political correctness as the only absolute in a world of absolutely no absolutes, who spares the rod at all costs, ignores the importance of the family unit, wastes it's natural resources, that is governed by and large by career criminals who thirst after power and prosperity – is doomed to be dumped into the graveyard of the nations, withered and lifeless and devoid of significance.
The time is coming when my country and her inhabitants will face a firestorm – maybe even literally – of retribution handed down from on high and Mystery Babylon will fall with a great crash in one day. Even so, the fields are ripe and the Vine dresser comes to gather His wheat into His barn and cast the grapes of the wine of His fierce anger into the wine-press and tread it out to the full. Even so, Lord Jesus...come!
